QUOTH THE RAVEN SOCKS
“Open here I flung the shutter, when, with many flirt and flutter / In stepped a stately Raven of the saintly days of yore.” And there it remained, perched above the chamber door. The bird and the man, the Raven and Poe. Did you know that Edgar Allen Poe almost wrote this poem about a parrot instead? Quoth the parrot: Nevermore! Instead, he wrote about the stately raven, and a century and a half later we have these Quoth the Raven Socks.
